PRIVACY POLICY

Moosbrugger Law, PLLC (the “Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an Arizona-based law firm. We respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding information in a manner consistent with applicable federal and state law, in addition to the Arizona Rules of Professional Conduct, including ER 1.6 (Confidentiality of Information). 


This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you visit our website, https://www.equalemploymentcounsel.com (the “Website”). Use of this Website does not create an attorney–client relationship.


We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide through the Website, such as your name, email address, telephone number, employment-related information, or other details you choose to submit through contact or intake forms. You should not submit confidential or sensitive information unless and until an attorney–client relationship has been formally established through a written engagement agreement.

In addition, certain information may be collected automatically when you access the Website. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the time spent on the Website. This information is collected for administrative, security, and analytical purposes.


Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as IP addresses and browsing behavior. The information collected through Google Analytics is used solely to improve Website performance and user experience and is not used by the Firm to personally identify visitors. You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by adjusting your browser settings or using Google’s opt-out tools.


Information submitted through the Website may be stored in Clio, a cloud-based legal practice management system used by the Firm. Clio maintains industry-standard security safeguards and contractual confidentiality obligations. Access to information stored in Clio is limited to authorized Firm personnel and is handled consistent with our ethical and professional responsibilities.


We use collected information to respond to inquiries, evaluate whether the Firm can assist with a potential legal matter, communicate with you, improve Website functionality, and comply with legal and ethical obligations. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.


Moosbrugger Law is bound by ER 1.6 of the Arizona Rules of Professional Conduct, which provides: “A lawyer shall not reveal information relating to the representation of a client unless the client gives informed consent, the disclosure is impliedly authorized, or the disclosure is otherwise permitted.” Even when no attorney–client relationship exists, the Firm treats information submitted through the Website with discretion and care consistent with professional obligations.


We may disclose information only to third-party service providers who assist with Website operations, such as hosting services, analytics providers, or Clio, and only where those providers are subject to confidentiality and security obligations. Information may also be disclosed if required by law, court order, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Firm or others.


The Firm employs reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


Communication with the Firm through this Website, including submission of forms or emails, does not create an attorney–client relationship. Such a relationship is established only through a written engagement agreement signed by both the client and the Firm.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites. Moosbrugger Law is not responsible for the privacy practices, policies, or content of those third-party sites.

The Website is not intended for children under the age of 13, and the Firm does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 6501–6506.


This Privacy Policy is intended to comply with applicable federal law, including Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, which prohibits unfair or deceptive acts or practices in or affecting commerce. 15 U.S.C. § 45(a)(1).


The Firm may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will become effective upon posting to the Website, and the effective date will be updated accordingly.
